Background
Grew up in a musical family and started playing the drums at the age of 12. He studied formally through high school and college, playing in every pep, jazz, and concert band possible. He began touring the country at the age of 22, cutting his teeth and learning the ways of the road with Country artist Rachel Timberlake for 5 years straight. Tyler then broadened his musicality by playing in a couple blues bands in and around southern Indiana.
